Immediately After the Accident :

Accidents can vary in severity. Sometimes it’s a pebble that cracks your windshield, sometimes it’s a collision. Here are some guidelines on what to do after an accident:

  • Remain calm
  • Make sure everyone is ok and call 112 if necessary
  • If another driver is involved don’t argue with them
  • Take pictures of the scene
  • Move your vehicle out of harm’s way
  • If someone else is involved, fill out the accident report, including : name, contact details, license plate number, insurance information and what happened
  • Now take pictures of caused damages more in detail
  • Don’t forget to ask contact details of witnesses

 

Reporting the Claim within 24 hours :

You can report your claim directly to the insurance company by calling the number mentioned on your insurance policy. But no matter how you report it there will be some information we’ll need to know:

  • Your information (name, policy number and which vehicle was involved)
  • If you weren’t driving : the name and contact details of the person who was
  • The accident report filled in on location by both parties explaining what happened
  • Severity of the damage
  • Estimated time / location of the incident
  • Information of anyone else involved (other drivers, witnesses, etc) is also helpful.
 

Emergencies :

  • Information of anyone else involved (neigbours, witnesses, etc) is also helpful.

After reporting the damage, we will send an insurance expert for a home inspection to make a report of the damages in detail.
